Thank Again ARC

ARC Donation of cat food and suppliesA Huge Thank You again to Animal Rescue Cooperative (ARC), for their generous donation of cat food and supplies.

Pictured is Cathy collecting food and other necessities from the super team at the ARC Leichhardt Hub.

We are so very grateful for these donations as it means the funds that would have been spent on food and supplies will now go towards our vet bills.

Thank you to ARC and all the generous vendors and donors that donate food and supplies to help so many:

#PetbarnFoundation; #RoyalCanin; #ProudlyMars; #HillsPetNutrition; #Whimzeesau; #WellnessPetFood; #blackhawkpetcare.

CATMOBILE UPDATE - FOUR MONTHS

Catmobile Update

FOUR MONTHS OF LIFE-SAVING JOURNEYS

Four months ago, we introduced our new CatMobile to the community, and what an incredible journey it's been! Our trusty vehicle has already clocked thousands of kilometers across the Blue Mountains, Lithgow, and surrounding districts, proving itself as the backbone of our rescue operations.

THE CATMOBILE IN ACTION

Every kilometer tells a story of hope and rescue:

- Emergency trapping and rescue missions for cats and kittens in need

- Essential veterinary transport ensuring timely medical care

- Food and supply deliveries to foster carers and feeding stations

- Meet-and-greet events connecting our cats with loving forever families

COMMUNITY SUPPORT MAKES IT POSSIBLE

None of these life-saving journeys would be happening without the incredible generosity of our supporters who helped us reach our $8,000 fundraising goal. Your contributions have directly translated into countless rescue stories and successful adoptions.

SPECIAL THANKS TO BRAD'S GARAGE

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Brad from Brad's Garage in Lithgow, whose dedication went far beyond expectations. Brad invested countless hours ensuring our CatMobile was in peak condition, replacing worn components with quality new parts. Thanks to his meticulous work, we now have a reliable vehicle equipped with modern comforts including:

- Air conditioning for summer rescues

- Heated seats and steering wheel for those chilly mountain mornings

- Enhanced reliability for our extensive weekly travel schedule.

LOOKING AHEAD

As we head into the warmer months, our CatMobile continues to be essential for our rescue work. Every trip represents hope for cats and kittens awaiting their second chance at happiness.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible - from donors and fundraisers to Brad's exceptional mechanical expertise. Together, we're keeping our rescue wheels turning and saving lives across our community!

Resource List - Cat Rescue Support

Explore Our Resource List for Cat Rescue Support.

At BMD, we know how much you care about finding the best support for cats that need help or new homes. As a small, volunteer-run charity in the Blue Mountains, we rely on our amazing volunteers, donations, and support from the community to keep going.

Due to limited resources, we cannot respond to every request, which is why we've put together this list to connect you with other groups that might be able to offer assistance.

We are happy to share our list of Cat Rescue Organisations. This resource is designed to give you additional contact options for support.

If you’ve had good experiences with any other rescue organisations, please let us know through our Contact Us Form. Your suggestions are invaluable in keeping our list helpful and up-to-date.

We welcome your feedback and any updates you think we should make. Thank you for your continued support
